Find it precisely, fix only what failed

A failing water service line announces itself sideways: a water bill that jumps with no change in habits, a soggy patch of lawn that never dries, pressure that drops when a second fixture opens, or the sound of running water with everything off. We locate the leak before anyone digs, which is the difference between a targeted repair and a trench across your whole yard.

When a water main burst on a customer named Diana, Jason had the entire line replaced within 72 hours, and her review says the fast response is what saved the house from major damage and a brutal water bill. Where the ground and the line allow it, trenchless replacement pulls new pipe through the old path with entry pits instead of an open trench, which spares driveways, mature trees, and landscaping. We quote both ways when both are viable, and the price is set before a shovel hits dirt.

What we handle

  • Leak location. Pinpointed before digging, not discovered by trench.
  • Spot repairs. Fix the failed section when the rest is sound.
  • Full replacement. New PEX or copper service line, meter to house.
  • Trenchless options. Pulled through the old path where conditions allow.
  • Pressure problems. Regulators, partial blockages, undersized old lines.
  • Rural & long runs. Well-to-house and long private lines in north county.

Your service line may be failing if…

  • The water bill jumped with no change in usage
  • A patch of lawn stays wet or unusually green
  • Pressure drops sharply when two fixtures run
  • You hear water running when everything is off

Nick came on a Sunday to repair our broken PEX pipe, which was leaking severely. He explained everything he was doing and did a great job, friendly, efficient, and thorough.

Water line questions

Who owns the line, me or the utility?
Generally, the utility owns up to and including the meter, and the line from the meter to the house is the homeowner's. That is why a leak on your side shows up on your bill. If we find the failure on the utility side, we will tell you to make a phone call instead of paying us.
Can you replace a line without digging up the yard?
Often, yes. Trenchless replacement pulls the new line through the old one's path using small entry pits. It depends on the pipe material, depth, and what else is buried nearby, so we confirm with a locate first, and quote trenchless against open trench when both work.
How fast can a burst line be handled?
Shut off at the meter or the house valve and call. We treat an active main break as an emergency, and a full line replacement has been turned around in as little as 72 hours.
